noticed someone was posting codes in here, plus I didn't see a general chat, nor have I posted this more than once in terms of spam

Just because someone else did something doesn't mean its right. In terms of spam I was mostly referring to newer people here in general, there is too many posts of people begging for codes where it doesn't belong. If they wanted people to beg for codes here they would have made a spot for that.

They would've had a rule against it I suppose, but in terms of the current forums, we only have two publics, lacking a general forum area among others so the logic seems lacking & more like this is not fully setup yet similar to soulframe being in alpha

Still not the place to beg for a code. Go to the discord or something. Stop making the forums a mess for people who want to use it as its intended.
