Twisted_darklight
Hi DE and All. I have a concept idea for Soulframe this is my idea for the Envoy to becomes a versatile character capable of adapting to various challenges and environments, which This can lead to engaging gameplay, this is called project Wild Shift: Wild Shift: The Envoy, can transform into various animals depending on their current situation and remaining stamina, they can be used for travel like mounts or in combat and more. Transformation Conditions Stamina Threshold: The Envoy can only transform when their stamina is above 25%. Environmental Factors: Certain environments might favor specific animal transformations (e.g., forests for deer, mountains for bears). Animal Forms and Abilities Wolf: Abilities: Increased speed, stealth, and tracking skills. Combat: Pounce, bite, and howl to disorient enemies. Deer: Abilities: High agility, jumping ability, and camouflage. Combat: Ram enemies, use antlers as weapons, and escape quickly. Bear: Abilities: Strength, resistance, and intimidation. Combat: Swipe, bite, and roar to demoralize enemies. Other Animals: Examples: Eagle (flight, aerial combat), snake (stealth, poison), rabbit (agility, evasion). Customization: Allow players to unlock or choose different animal forms based on progression or gameplay choices and allow other customization options like colours etc. Gameplay Implications Exploration: Animal forms can open up new areas and traversal methods. Combat: Different animals offer unique strategies and tactics. Resource Gathering: Some animals might be better suited for hunting, foraging, or gathering specific resources. Stealth: Stealthy animals can be used for infiltration or reconnaissance. Social Interactions: Animal forms might affect how other characters or creatures react to the Envoy. Integration into the Game Progression: Players can unlock new animal forms as they level up or complete specific quests. Customization: Allow players to customize the appearance and abilities of their animal forms. Stamina Management: The Envoy's stamina will decrease while transformed, affecting their abilities and duration. Balancing: Ensure that the strengths and weaknesses of each animal form are balanced to prevent overpowered or underpowered choices. By incorporating this mechanic, the Envoy becomes a versatile character capable of adapting to various challenges and environments. This can lead to engaging gameplay, unique strategies, and a sense of wonder as players explore the world in different animal forms.
Sinest
Love the idea. I just want to add that deer can kick very fast and have extremely sharp hooves. I feel like this is a very unestimated part of the deers arsenal.

Like the idea of sharp hooves and fast kick on the deer as this will work well with the Ramming the enemies with the antlers as there weapons making the Deer more versatile in combat. This is a great addon to the deer combat set - Thanks for making the suggestion.
Twisted_darklight
Feel free to add all ideas for animals, that can be added to the Project: Wild Shift. For example: The Fox: Abilities Enhanced Senses: Foxes have exceptional hearing, sight, and smell. These senses can be used for tracking enemies, detecting traps, and finding hidden treasures. Increased Agility: Foxes are incredibly agile and nimble, allowing them to dodge attacks, navigate tight spaces, and climb walls. Stealth: Foxes are masters of disguise and can blend seamlessly into their surroundings. This makes them ideal for stealth missions and avoiding enemies. Combat Pounce: The Envoy can leap forward with incredible speed and precision, knocking enemies off their feet or delivering a powerful blow. Bite: Foxes have sharp teeth that can inflict significant damage. The Envoy can use their bite to attack enemies, disarm them, or even sever ropes. Tail Whip: The Envoy's tail is a powerful weapon that can be used to strike enemies, dislodge objects, or create distractions. Additional Considerations Fox Variants: The Envoy could unlock different fox variants with unique abilities, such as a red fox for speed and agility, or an arctic fox for resistance to cold. Environmental Advantages: Foxes thrive in forests and grasslands, making them particularly effective in these environments. By adding the fox form to the Envoy's repertoire, players can enjoy a new set of tactical options and engage in thrilling stealth-based gameplay.
